About the ArtistMultitalented singer, songwriter, and guitarist
Jason Cann, a Hartland, VT native, is well-known throughout Vermont and New Hampshire as both a solo performer and bandleader. His music—an engaging blend of original songs and covers—is smooth, soulful, and deeply rooted in American traditions.
Jason fronted the popular band
WHEREHOUSE (2001-2017), spent decades performing solo across New England’s ski towns, and has opened for
Joan Osborne and
The Gin Blossoms at the Lebanon Opera House. His CD of original material,
Diamond in the Rough, features Nashville legends including guitarist
Brent Mason. Jason’s performances showcase a vibrant mix of country, blues, rock, and Americana, highlighted by his powerful acoustic playing and distinctive vocals.
Back together once again, joining Jason for this special Wherehouse reunion are:
-
Scott Stone (WHEREHOUSE) - Bass and harmony vocals
-
Shane Walton (WHEREHOUSE, Gr8teful Folk) – drums
Come out for a fantastic night of live music, dancing, and community—all in support of preserving a local one-of-a-kind art treasure!
