Thank you for volunteering for with Iron Sharp Community Foundation! This year all volunteers and vendors will attend ONE 6 hour shift. In a spirit of unity, we will set up, serve our families, and break down together. Let's make a mighty impact on the children and families of Aurora on this day!
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for standing/walking. Please wear aBLACK shirt and we will give you a yellow lanyard on arrival to stand out as our "forgers" #BeTheIron!

✅ Iron Sharp Community Foundation Consolidated Event Waiver By checking the box and registering for this event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and policies set forth by Iron Sharp Community Foundation: 1️⃣ General Liability Release: I acknowledge and agree that Iron Sharp Community Foundation is not liable for any mental or physical injury, loss, or damage of personal property, or personal expenses accrued while participating in or volunteering for this event. This includes, but is not limited to, costs related to claims, damages, losses, and attorney's fees resulting from participation. 2️⃣ Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization and Release: I hereby authorize Iron Sharp Community Foundation, its staff, volunteers, or any designated event personnel to act on my behalf in the event I am in need of emergency medical care during this event. This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining medical treatment from licensed physicians, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare providers. A reasonable effort will be made to contact my emergency contact before any treatment is administered. However, in the event I am unable to communicate and my emergency contact cannot be reached, I give permission for representatives of Iron Sharp Community Foundation to secure and authorize any necessary medical treatment. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses incurred and release Iron Sharp Community Foundation and its representatives from any and all claims related to medical care provided in good faith during the event. 3️⃣ COVID-19 & Communicable Disease Waiver I acknowledge and understand that participation in Iron Sharp Community Foundation events may expose me to certain risks, including but not limited to exposure to communicable diseases such as COVID-19, influenza, or other illnesses. By attending this event, I voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure and infection and acknowledge that I am personally responsible for taking necessary precautions, including practicing good hygiene and not attending if I am experiencing symptoms or have recently been exposed to a known case of a communicable disease. I hereby release, waive, and discharge Iron Sharp Community Foundation, its employees, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated organizations from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action related to illness, injury, or loss that may result from exposure to communicable diseases during my participation. 4️⃣ Firearms & Weapons Policy I understand this is a weapons-free event and agree not to bring any firearms (open or concealed), knives, or other weapons to the event site. Violation of this policy may result in removal from the event and/or notification of local authorities. 5️⃣ Harassment Prevention Policy Iron Sharp Community Foundation strives to foster an environment where people are treated with dignity, decency, and respect. Harassment, bullying, or abusive treatment toward employees, volunteers, or participants is strictly prohibited. Harassment includes but is not limited to any form of discrimination based on race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sex (including gender identity/expression), sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected class under federal or state law. Sexual harassment is specifically prohibited and includes behaviors such as: Unwelcome sexual advances or flirtation Inappropriate touching Requests for sexual favors Sexually explicit jokes or comments Display of suggestive content Harassment occurring in-person, online, or off-site will not be tolerated. Any allegations involving minors or bodily harm will be reported to local law enforcement. Reporting Protocol: Any incidents should be reported immediately to a supervisor or designated representative. Retaliation against individuals who report harassment is strictly prohibited. 6️⃣ Minor Participation Requirement (Under 16) If I am registering a child under the age of 16, I understand that they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire event. Children under 16 may not attend or volunteer without guardian supervision. 7️⃣ Media Release Authorization By participating in this event, I grant full permission to Iron Sharp Community Foundation and its representatives to capture and use photographs, video, or audio recordings of me (or my minor child, if applicable) for lawful purposes. These may include promotional materials, educational content, fundraising efforts, or media shared with partners. I waive any rights to compensation or approval of media use and release Iron Sharp Community Foundation from liability related to such use. If I prefer not to be recorded, I understand it is my responsibility to notify staff upon arrival and make reasonable efforts to avoid cameras and microphones during the event. *
