Wake On Stage

Wake on Stage is a fun, high energy evening celebrating the arts. The party starts @ 6 with heavy hors d’oeuvres and open bar! At 7 we’ll move into the theatre for exciting performances by influencers from across Wake County.

• The Wake County Commissioners featuring jazz artist Shana Tucker
• WRAL Meteorologist Chris Michaels on drums
• The Dawson Family Fun Time Band starring Jamie Dawson (Aspires Homes), Lynda Dawson & their daughters
• The Broughton High School Jazz Ensemble featuring Rep. Mike Schietzelt, NC House, on trumpet
• Raleigh City Councilperson Christina Jones performing a monologue
• Former Wake County Commissioner Sig Hutchinson performing “The World’s Greatest Magic Trick”
• Former WRAL Anchor Valonda Calloway performing a dance piece.
• Mayor William “Bill” Harris of Fuquay Varina on trumpet
• Wake County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Robert P. Taylor performing a monologue
