Join us for a magical night where the streets of Sandpoint transform into a culinary camino. This progressive biking dinner celebrates the vibrant spirit of Spain—through tapas, paella, and sweet indulgences—all hosted at the homes of generous POP members. Every sip and bite supports our youth biking programs, empowering the next generation of riders.

La Ruta includes four exquisite stops, each paired with Spanish-inspired drinks and dishes. At the first stop, you’ll receive a souvenir tumbler to use for drinks at each location. Non-alcoholic options will be available throughout the evening.

 Welker Family – Aperitivo
Drink: Whisky Sangría
Tapas:

• Manchego y membrillo bites
• Marinated Spanish olive skewers
• Chorizo and date skewers

 Wells Family – Primer Plato
Drink: Cava and surprise shot
Plato:

• Spanish cucumber salad: crisp cucumbers, red onions, tomatoes, olive oil, and sherry vinegar
• Rustic tapas board: Spanish-style cured meats and cheeses, pickled vegetables, nuts, dried fruits, fresh sourdough baguette, and artisan crackers

 Meyer & Stempson Families – Plato Principal
Drink: Rioja wine, cerveza española
Plato:

• Paella del Mar by Paella House: Penn Cove mussels, Manila clams, wild prawns, and calamari in a rich sofrito of caramelized local vegetables and sweet-smoked paprika from Cáceres
• Paella de la Huerta: Spanish white beans, seasonal vegetables, saffron, and rosemary
• Ensalada mixta: Mediterranean greens and vegetables dressed simply with olive oil and vinegar

Drink: Carajillo – Spanish coffee cocktail with rum or brandy
