Housemoot

Housemoot is a local version of the Hutchmoot conference which is an event hosted by The Rabbit Room* in Tennessee. Housemoot explores art, faith, and the beauty of God’s kingdom through rich conversations and meaningful connection.

Lewis in 2006, he returned to Nashville with a conviction that community nourishes good and lasting artistic work—and that creative work nourishes community. The mission is to set a long table and pile it high with the very best of artistic fare. The table is set and you are invited.” 

They wanted to extend this table by allowing local communities to share this bountiful feast and find nourishment together.

Housemoot with The Sabbath Life at the Abbey of the Heights will take place on Saturday October 11 from 9:00am-9:00pm. We will hear from the same speakers sharing at the Hutchmoot Conference and then engage in discussion groups with those at the Abbey.

Tickets to attend are $40 and includes:

-Three meals, coffee, tea and snacks

-Free time to create, rest and reflect at the peaceful Abbey of Heights retreat center

-Lectures from the Hutchmoot speakers and 

-Quality conversations with fellow attendees!
