Screening: Unmuted - Child Brides

1 in 3 women globally will experience gender based violence. Child Brides follows the stories of girls impacted by forced child marriage in India and the United States of America whilst presenting the global movement fighting to end it through education, legal reform, and grassroots advocacy. Child Brides is from UNMUTED, a docuseries which follows eight women from across the globe through their journeys of reclaiming their agency and rebuilding their lives against seemingly insurmountable odds. Without Exception Films' UNMUTED is a 2024 Clinton Global Initiative selection and a Realscreen MIPTV Pick. 

This exclusive screening will be followed by a discussion hosted by American author, journalist, and filmmaker and anchor for MSNBC and NBC News Richard Lui, featuring the film’s director and founder of featured nonprofit Unchained at Last, Fraidy Reiss.
