ASL 101 with Christopher Cardona

Learn ASL in a welcoming, LGBTQ+ affirming space!
Join us for an 8-week beginner American Sign Language course taught by Christopher Cardona, Deaf Interpreter and ASL professor at Augustana University.

What you’ll learn:

• Basic ASL vocabulary and everyday conversation

• Fingerspelling, numbers, and grammar

• Deaf culture awareness and inclusive communication

Schedule:

• Mondays, Sept 15 – Nov 10

• 6:30–8:00 PM (90-minute sessions with a short break)

• Held at the Prism Center (500 N Western Ave, Sioux Falls)

Cost:

• $10 per session or $80 for the full 8-week series
