We are excited to invite you to our second annual Farm to Table Fundraising Brunch at Lou Harrison House to share in a culinary feast that brings the flavors of our desert land to life. Savor dishes crafted from sustainably harvested native plants, along with home grown vegetables from our garden and fruit from our orchard. We look forward to gathering as a community to celebrate life.
Your donation directly provides much needed support for our non profit's programs.
Since 2006 we have engaged thousands of people with low-to-no-cost high quality music, arts, and ecology events, promoting creativity, sustainability, and cultural development for adults and youth in our underserved rural community.Bringing the magic of music to the schools coupled with school field trips to our permaculture gardens widens the students world view and teaches respect for the planet and our local desert ecology. We know we are on the right track when we witness the wide eyed amazement of a child pulling a carrot from the ground and exclaiming "Oh that's where they come from!" or a young boy at the local farmers market recognizing our director and with excitement exclaiming "I know you! You're my music!". These spontaneous interactions are truly heartening.
Our non profit promotes cultural ecology by bringing diverse artists and thinkers from around the world to the majestic Lou Harrison House for a fully supported residency and share their work with youth and community... uplifting all.
