2025 Society of St Vincent de Paul Southeast District Friends of the Poor Walk
The Friends of the Poor Walk is a fun family event to raise awareness of poverty in our community and to raise funds to help those in our community who are suffering from poverty.
Registration begins at 8:30 AM. At 9 AM we will gather for a prayer and a group photo.
Upon arrival please present your event tickets. For those who did not register online there will be paper registration forms in English and Spanish.
There is no set route. You may walk to the north or the south for as little or as long as you would like.
For safety, we encourage everyone to walk with a buddy. If you plan to walk solo please indicate this on your registration form and check in with event table before you leave.
We will provide bottled water and a semi-healthy snack.
NOTE: T-SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE, $6.00 FOR SIZES SMALL THROUGH XL, $8.00 FOR 2XL. DUE TO THE ORDERING DEADLINE WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY OF ALL SIZES.
When registering, please note the difference between a Buyer and an Attendee!
- An individual makes a ticket purchase for themselves, so the buyer and attendee are the same
- An individual makes a ticket purchase for one or more other people, so the buyer and attendee(s) are not the same
- An individual makes a ticket purchase for themselves and other(s), so they are both the buyer and attendee, in addition to other attendee(s)
