A concert exploring the profound feeling of belonging, this is installment three of our Antonín Dvořák symphony cycle. Here we have his pastorale Eight Symphony, a work brimming with joy and a sense of shared humanity. Also on the program, a collaboration with UWO choirs under the direction of Dr Kristin Ramseyer. With them, two choral masteries by Johannes Brahms will be sung. Nänie and Schicksalslied are deeply reflective pieces, brimming with beauty and hope. They remind us of our collective journey and our shared experience. This music celebrates that which connects us.
