2025 People Make the Place

Join your friends and neighbors to share stories, celebrate history, and recognize continued commitment to our Little 5 Points community at People Make the Place! The evening will include improv from Dad's Garage, as well as light food and drinks. 

 For 2025 we'll be highlighting the importance of arts & culture to the L5P identity as we honor the following individuals:
 
 Don Bender Legacy Award:
 - Lisa & Jeff Adler, Horizon Theatre 
 As founders of Horizon Theatre, Lisa and Jeff have been building a creative community in Little 5 Points and greater Atlanta since 1983.
 
 Uplift L5P Award:
 - Lauren Amos, Wish Atlanta
 Founder Lauren Amos brought a focus on fashion, culture, and community to L5P with the creation of Wish Atlanta more than 20 years ago along with partner Julie Hogg.
 
 - Councilmember Amir Farokhi, District 2
 Amir Farokhi has helped advocate for greater investment in Little 5 Points as well as a renewed focus on arts and culture in our community and citywide.

People Make the Place is our largest annual fundraiser, and money raised goes to support the L5P Alliance's efforts around Mobility & Placemaking, Public Safety, and Arts & Culture.
