2025 Hope In Action

Join us for Wave Strong's Hope in Action Luncheon & Conversation, a gathering to uplift, connect and create lasting change for mental health in our community. We are honored to host a fireside chat with Gina and Steve Meyer, founders of the Katie's Save Foundation. 

Katie’s Save is a national initiative launched by the Meyer family after the loss of their daughter, Katie Meyer, a standout Stanford University athlete. Katie Meyer’s Law was passed in California last year and the foundation is seeking action to take the law federally, which advocates for a simple policy change: allowing college students to designate a trusted adult to be contacted during times of crisis. It’s a critical step toward ensuring no student struggles alone, and Wave Strong is proud to amplify this lifesaving mission. Learn more at www.katiessave.org.

The Wave Strong Foundation was formed out of the need to support our community surrounding a better approach to addressing mental health.  Our mission is to break down the stigmas of mental health for the betterment of Darien.
