The Souper Walk is the biggest (and most fun) annual fundraiser for our non-profit THE ZADIE PROJECT.  On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Souper Jenny's Director of Operations, and the President of the Zadie board, Keith Yaeger, along with Souper Jenny herself, and friends throughout our community, will be walking the 30-mile “Souper Jenny Trail” with the goal of raising $65,000.

What is The ZADIE PROJECT?  The Zadie Project is Souper Jenny's 501(c)3 non-profit organization helping to feed, and educate, children, families, and seniors affected by food insecurity in Atlanta.  The Zadie Project currently distributes 1000 quarts of soup per week to those in need.  To learn more, visit our website...

Want to WALK with Keith, Jenny, and friends?  Of course, you do!  What is better than spending a day outside, walking with fun people, all while raising money/bringing attention to a great cause?  

The Souper Walk starts at the Souper Jenny Roswell location at EXACTLY 7 am that Saturday and we then travel to each Souper Jenny location throughout the city. The first "leg" is 12 miles long and we will arrive in Chamblee at 11:15 am.  Then it's five miles to Buckhead arriving by 1 pm and 5.5 miles from there to Westside, getting in just after 3 pm.  The final leg to the Decatur location is a total of 8 miles and we should finish around 6:15-6:30. The walk is four "legs", and you can sign up for any, or all, of them.  

On the day of the walk, we will provide snacks, drinks, a delicious lunch, a commemorative t-shirt, and more.  Each year has been a fun, positive, rewarding experience and this year promises to be the same.

As in previous years, we are asking each walker for a donation.  This year we are asking for a $250 donation.  Once you sign up and donate, you will receive a tax receipt (NOTE: the only way we could handle payment was to set it up with a fair market value of $.01 and then $249.99 as tax deductible. Also, this year, you will have a place on our website where your friends, family, and co-workers can easily support you.  Once you sign up, we will send instructions for that.  The process only takes a couple of minutes and allows you/us to easily share our goals and cause.
