Haunted Hernando History Tour

This Halloween, join the Historic Hernando Preservation Society for our inaugural Haunted Hernando History Tour. On this one-hour walking tour, we'll reveal the real-life crimes tied to downtown Brooksville locations, from chilling murders to destructive arsons and scandalous bootlegging. 

Drawing from historical research, our guides will tell the true stories of those who lived—and sometimes died tragically—in Hernando County's tumultuous past. While some victims received timely justice, and other still wait for it, sharing their stories keeps their memories alive. 

There will be multiple tour groups starting at the same time, each with up to 15 participants per group. When purchasing tickets, if you are attending with friends or family, please make sure the group you are buying tickets in has enough tickets remaining for your entire group. If not, try a different group so you can tour together.
