🌟2025 Almadina Mustangs Islamic Kids and Youth Summer Camp @ SBIA 🌟

For Boys & Girls Ages 4–7 (co-ed group) and Ages 8–11 and 12-15 (separate boys & girls groups)

This summer, give your child the gift of growth, fun, and faith!

If you choose to register your child in our summer camp: You must complete this google form for your child(ren) to help us have important information about your child(ren). 

Almadina Mustangs Summer Islamic Camp is thrilled to be at SBIA in sha Allah—designed to nurture your child’s love for Islam through exciting activities, creative learning, outdoor fun, and community-building friendships.

📚 Camp Highlights

• Daily Islamic lessons in an engaging and age-appropriate setting

• Outdoor summer activities & nature exploration (around SBIA)

• Arts & crafts, sports: basketball, soccer, and field hockey, archery, water balloon fun, and more!

• Interactive communication development workshops

• Safe, small-group environment

• Each activity runs ~45 minutes with scheduled time for Dhuhr prayer and lunch

🗓️ Camp Dates & Details

Dates: June 30 – Aug 1, 2025

Days of week: Monday–Friday
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 5 hours

Extended hours offered from 8-10AM and 3-5PM for $8hr.
Location: The South Bay Islamic Center (SBIA) San Jose, CA; Indoor and Outdoor Spaces

Cost: $350/week early bird special | 

 (Early-Bird Rate; must register my June 25, 2025, $400 after 6/26/25)

Notes:

1. You can register for 1 week, 2-week, 3-week, 4- week, or 5-week options

2. If you sign up for all 5 weeks, you will receive an additional $100 off.

3. If Parents wish to drop off later in morning or pick up earlier for any reason on any day, they are welcome to.  Early Drop off is between 8-10AM- and late pick up is between 3-5PM in the downstairs hall area. Must pay in advance for the extended hours. 

4. If any days are missed for any reason other than an emergency, no refunds will be issued for that day as we still have to pay staff and rental fees. JZK for your understanding and support. 

🍴 Lunch provided every Friday! (Please pack lunch & reusable water bottles for other days. Comfortable clothes they can get messy in and comfortable shoes)

👕 What to Bring

• Water bottle & lunch (Mon–Thurs); lunch provided Fridays

• Comfortable clothes & tennis shoes

• Prayer clothes for Dhuhr and Friday Jummah Prayer

Lastly, important note: we must have at least 9 registered per age group to host this camp. If we do not have 9 per age group, we will have to put boys and girls together from ages 8-11 and 12-15. I will notify you beforehand by email so you can decide if you want to keep your child in the camp or not.

🧕 About the Camp Director – 

Founder of Almadina Mustangs, Sr. Indira brings over 12 years of global experience organizing youth camps in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Bosnia, and California. She holds a Master’s in Science with a focus on Physical Education, has played professional basketball, and has led youth programs since 2014. She’s passionate about building a fun, faith-filled space for children to grow. She will be overseeing the camps! 

Camp Counselors:

Energetic Muslim Camp Counselors are the heart of our Islamic camps, bringing with them valuable experience in teaching children and guiding them through meaningful learning. With strong foundations in Islamic and Quranic knowledge, a passion for sports, and a deep care for each camper’s well-being, they help foster an environment of growth and positivity. Their dedication ensures that every child enjoys a fun, spiritually enriching, and balanced camp experience.

Meet our team: 
Girls Counselor and Lead: Sr. Masoma brings years of hands-on experience teaching at various Islamic summer camps, Sunday schools, and community programs throughout the Bay Area. A Hafidhah of the Quran and dedicated youth mentor, she has led classes in Quran, Islamic studies, and character building. Masoma is passionate about creating meaningful spaces where young people feel supported, inspired, and connected to their faith. She has also founded a literacy nonprofit, coordinated outreach efforts, and served on various leadership boards. This summer, she’s excited to bring her energy and love for teaching to making this summer unforgettable in sha Allah. She will also be a supervisor of the camp and your point of contact for girls. 

Boys Counselor and Lead: Br. Kashif, a senior at San Jose State, has finished Hifz in 2018. He attended K-8th grade at Northstar Islamic School, learning everything from advanced Fiqh and Islamic studies to Seerah. He has experience in teaching children throughout the years, being an after school maktab teacher for Quran and Islamic studies. He enjoys being involved with growing childrens’ knowledge in everything Islam promotes, not just in the textbooks but in real world scenarios. He looks forward to having fun with the campers this summer!
