Pay-What-You-Can Concert: An Evening with the Richmond Pops (June 1, 6:30 PM, Altria Theater)

This performance will be on December 17, 2024 at 6:30pm at the Altria Theater (6 N. Laurel Street, Richmond, VA, 23220). 

 The lobby will open around 5:15pm, and seating will begin shortly thereafter.

Join us for an evening of wind band music presented by Central Virginia’s Finest Community Concert Band, under the baton of Earl E. Shaffer, Jr. The performance will feature your favorite movie themes from legendary film composer John Williams, as well as a number of wind band classics and will conclude with our traditional Memorial Day musical tribute to our American Armed Forces. 

The Richmond Pops Band will be joined by a number of outstanding local musical artists, including vocal soloists Emma Potts and Pablo  Talamante, trumpet soloist David More, composer Rob Blankenship, and guest conductor Ryan Stahl.
