SolidariTee: Speaker Event with Nantina Tsekeri
We are very fortunate to be hosting Nantina Tsekeri, CEO of SolidariTee's partner Defence for Children International - Greece, alongside European Immigration and Asylum Law expert Vasiliki Apatzidou. This is a rare opportunity to meet members of the leadership team from the partners that SolidariTee exists to support, here in the UK, and to learn more about their work, and in turn, what we stand for as a charity.
Join us for some snacks and an informal speaker event focusing on learning more about the experiences of refugee children and their caregivers in Europe, as well as the difference that can be made through tailored legal aid combined with wraparound support through DCI's 'stepping stone academy', which incorporates activities that promote social and academic development for children as well as mental wellbeing and employability skills for parents.
There will also be time for a Q&A focused on careers in asylum and migration law within humanitarian and academic spaces.
