Plant Journal 101 Drawing Class
Want to come draw with Laura from Planted. at the Dubuque Arboretum???
Join her for a relaxed Plant Journal 101 class where you will learn how to apply botanical observational skills to a hand-crafted journal utilizing simple drawing techniques, watercolor pencils, and pens for basic line-work. NO EXPERIENCE OR PRIOR DRAWING SKILLS REQUIRED.
Outcomes:
You will have a broad understanding of different plant families, general characteristics that help with identification, and basic plant care to help guide your plant journey. You will also take home the beginnings of a plant journal with the skills to continue as your plant family grows.
Course fee is $45 and includes:
1 pack of watercolor pencils
1 Micron Pen
1 Pencil
1 Paint brush
And a watercolor journal pad
