Hive to Harvest is excited to partner with Jessie from Growing Up Crafty to offer our first Children’s Nature Series Art Classes, where kids (ages 5-12 years old) and their guardians can connect with nature through creativity!
June 11th - Jackson Pollock: Splatter Painting with Items Found in Nature
Get messy and creative with Pollock-inspired splatter painting! Kids will use natural objects to create dynamic and colorful abstract art. Jackson Pollock used splashes and movement to create his bold works of art. We’ll learn a bit about his unique style before heading outdoors to discover our own natural paintbrushes. As we explore, we’ll gather materials that inspire us, then return to the studio to create expressive paintings using the natural tools we found!
