Art at the Hive 4/9 - Henri Matisse: Collage Art Habitats

Hive to Harvest is excited to partner with Jessie from Growing Up Crafty to offer our first Children’s Nature Series Art Classes, where kids (ages 5-12 years old) and their guardians can connect with nature through creativity!

April 9th - Henri Matisse: Collage Art Habitats
Explore the vibrant world of Henri Matisse through collage art! Kids will design creative habitats using bold colors and organic shapes inspired by Matisse’s work. We’ll begin with the book Henri’s Scissors, taking a peek into the creative mind of Henri Matisse. Then, we’ll explore various habitats and the natural shapes found within them. Using what we’ve learned, we’ll design our own abstract shape habitats, bringing our imaginations to life through art!
