The Coleen Cunningham Foundation (CCF) warmly invites you to the May 3 Awareness Walk 2025, a vibrant, family-friendly event to raise awareness for Atypical Parkinsonism (PSP, MSA, CBD, DLB). Taking place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Hub at Burlington Mall in Burlington, Ontario, this community gathering promises a meaningful and fun-filled afternoon.
Event Highlights

1 km Awareness Walk: Choose indoor or outdoor routes, with a brief stop to share facts and stories about Atypical Parkinsonism.

Inspiring Speaker: Hear a keynote address (1:30 PM), and a Q&A session (2:00 PM).

Entertainment: Enjoy starting at 1:00 PM, a kids’ zone with balloon animals, activities, and a thrilling raffle draw at 2:45 PM.

Community Fun: Explore vendor booths, grab a snack, and connect with others in a teal-themed atmosphere.
Event Schedule

12:00 PM – Pre-Walk Social: Check in at The Hub, pick up wristbands and maps, and join a light stretch or Awareness BINGO.

12:05 PM – Welcome Speech: Learn the purpose of the walk and hear thanks to our sponsors.

12:30 PM – 1 km Walk: A short, impactful journey to shine a light on Atypical Parkinsonism.

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Post-Walk Social: Speaker, kids’ activities, vendor booths, and a raffle to close the day.
Location: The Hub at Burlington Mall, with outdoor events in the Hudson Bay Parking Lot (Fairview St), Burlington, Ontario. Rain or shine!

We’re raising awareness for Atypical Parkinsonism, a group of rare neurodegenerative conditions, to support education, advocacy, and hope for those affected in our community and beyond.
