Wine Soiree

Join us for an evening of wine tasting and delicious bites.

Learn about the do’s and don’ts of wine tasting from sommelier, David Gregory, owner of Ora et Labora.

Specializing in European wines, this tasting is perfect for the novice to the sophisticated. You are guaranteed to learn something new as you help support Candlelighters For Children With Cancer.
Dress is business casual. The event is 21 and over.

Rare Wine Silent Auction

We will have three sets of rare wines in our silent auction exclusively at the event, as well as a rare champagne package for bubbly aficionados!

New Wave Burgundy
FMV $316

Four bottles from young winemakers who are revolutionizing Burgundian winemaking.

Barolo
FMV $408
Three bottles of Barolo, each from revered producers, including a magnum of Oddero.

Champagne
FMV $585

Four truly special champagnes, all featuring long aging on the lees.

Keller, the Holy Grail of German Wines
FMV $1295

Kaus Peter Keller is hailed as the single greatest producer of German Rieslings. This is a true collectors package. Only 12 bottles come to Oregon of each of these (and six of the Morstein), and Ora et Labora is only one of five bottle shops in the state to receive these highly sought after gems.

For 48 years, Candlelighters For Children With Cancer has been here for hope and connection during the lifelong journey of childhood cancer.

This event is one of the ways we fund the critical services like emergency financial assistance, support groups and a parent mentorship program, a youth program for survivors, in-hospital programs and more - for local families while they are battling pediatric cancer.
