Women's History Tribute & Brunch

We're pleased to announce our 4th Annual Women's History Tribute and Brunch on Thursday, March 20th, 2025 at 11:00 am. Coinciding with Women’s History Month, this special event honors the remarkable contributions of women in our nation's military service, past and present.

This year's event will pay special recognition to women in service in the United States Air Force and honor LtCol Evelyn Jean Wright, USAF Ret., a distinguished Flight Nurse who transported patients across the Pacific during the Korea and Vietnam Wars. Colonel Wright also pioneered the first advanced military obstetrical nursing course and served as a Consultant in Maternal Nursing to the Surgeon General.

The event will also feature:

• Amy Forsythe, emcee – an award-winning military journalist with five combat tours as a United States Marine and currently serving as a Public Affairs Officer in the U.S. Navy
• Amanda Huffman, keynote speaker – former Air Force Civil Engineer, military spouse, and creator of the "Women of the Military" podcast
