How do we keep hands-on cooking and gardening activities at the center of student experience when designing standards-aligned lessons? Which NGSS standards most easily lend themselves to edible education contexts? And what does it mean to design "3 dimensional" lessons? You’ll leave this workshop with a better understanding of how to use NGSS standards to support (rather than inhibit) robust learning for your students, and concrete tools for designing awesome, hands-on, NGSS-aligned kitchen and garden lessons.
