Our book tour has returned! Join us for some holiday shopping, support small businesses during this very festive time of year!
The Pier Players’ own Julianne Kastner has been a history tour guide in Philadelphia for four years. This event combines two of her favorite topics - site-specific history and supporting small businesses.
Fully immerse yourself in the stories of Philadelphia's yesteryears and the notable literary figures who trod these same cobblestones, and learn fun facts about the bookstores you'll be browsing.

This Book Crawl is also a fundraiser for the upcoming Pier Players 2025 season. All proceeds will support our theater company; anything you buy along the book crawl will directly support these stores!
The meet-up location will be shared with your email confirmation! Our group sizes are capped to ensure a comfortable shopping experience for all tour attendees (Some of these stores are small AND mighty so we don't want to overwhelm staff and other customers).
Tickets can not be bought in person on the day of the Book Crawl!
