Social Justice Leadership Youth Workshop: Identity & Power

This workshop allows students to learn more about the concept of identity and reflect on their own, specifically what makes them them. It also helps groups build authentic relationships and break stereotypes and assumptions by seeing the complexity of each other.

The workshop identifies the identity groups and their intersectionalities that have been given access and advantage in US society historically and institutionally, and those who have been oppressed. It will allow students space to discuss the impacts of that system and its power; as well as,  where they fit into that and how they can support each other, their community, and themselves.
