Empty Bowls Fundraiser 2024

Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and crafts people in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food-related charities. Artists donate handmade bowls, people purchase tickets for a simple meal of soup and bread, and choose an empty bowl to take home as a reminder of those who have empty bowls at home due to food insecurity. Funds raised will support ACOM's Merchant Street Food Pantry, which serves residents of Kankakee County.

This fundraiser is an initiative of Hedgeapple Arts, with donations being processed by United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties.
