The STEM CEO Challenge

The STEM CEO Challenge is a unique experience that brings participants to the intersection of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and business. At present, 7 out of the 10 largest companies are STEM (tech) companies. This ratio is projected to continue and expand for the foreseeable future. Therefore, not only is it important for future leaders to understand the world of STEM, but it is also equally important that they understand the world of business. This event will introduce students to commercial real estate. Commercial real estate is widely recognized as a critical element of business.

Participants will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Amazon and lead the company to new heights by making a consequential commercial real estate decision! Participants will have the opportunity to tour the Morgan State University Earl G Graves School of Business and Management, learn about the role of a tech company CEO, and learn foundational principles of commercial real estate before completing a fun and engaging team commercial real estate challenge with the opportunity for a cash prize. Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with Morgan State School of Business and Management students and professors, as well as distinguished real estate professionals.

Cash Prizes:

1st place team: $500

2nd place team: $400

3rd place team: $300

Max 4 people per team. Team assignments will be made at the event
