Love Over Fear Benefit Concert
This year’s Love Over Fear benefit concert will take place on November 12 at Freight & Salvage in Berkeley at 6:30pm. It will be an evening of music and storytelling celebrating global rhythms and deep connections to land and heritage. There will be a lineup of incredible musicians, as well as artists, faith leaders, immigrant and formerly incarcerated neighbors, as we explore themes of journey, freedom, captivity, and indigeneity. This concert is a fundraiser for Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity (IM4HI). Your support will advance IM4HI’s work to demand the full humanity of every individual through immigration and decarceration advocacy, accompaniment, and the leadership development of directly impacted leaders and faith allies.
Doors open at 6:00pm / Show starts at 6:30
The Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity (IM4HI) is a multiracial and multifaith organization bringing spiritual leadership to social movements to demand the full humanity of every individual and ensure the well-being of our communities. With organizational roots in the 1990s, we advance racial equity in two program areas: immigrant justice and incarceration. In the last two years, we engaged more than 2,000 people of faith, 360 congregations and partner organizations, supported 234 directly-impacted individuals, and reached more than 35,000 people with a message of hope, love and resilience.
We aspire to transform public understanding of immigration and public safety – from a framework of punishment and exclusion towards a liberating vision based on dignity and care. We do this in three ways: transforming narrative, transforming leadership, and transforming policy and practice.
We can only be as safe as the most vulnerable in our communities. Our Love Over Fear campaign helps create safe and thriving communities by replacing the narrative of fear, xenophobia, and racism with inclusion, forgiveness, and shared humanity.

Your generosity is critical to help those most vulnerable know that they do not struggle alone but that there are many others from all religious, cultural, and racial backgrounds who stand with them on the side of justice.
Your donation provides direct support to recent immigrants and families of those impacted by detention and incarceration, trains volunteers, and builds leadership to advocate for a just and caring world. You help build a network of people of diverse faiths and backgrounds to stand together against racism, discrimination, and meet the political challenges of our day. You help embody hope and solidarity with those on the margins.
We have big goals for 2025, and we hope you will partner with us! Your donation is a way to choose love over fear. Your donation helps to create a world where all are sacred beyond bars and borders.
