As we proudly celebrate our 75th anniversary, we reach out to our community for support to continue our mission at 228 N. Alarcon Street.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, The Mountain Artists Guild has been a cornerstone of our community and culture. Many recognize us for hosting the beloved Mother’s Day and August festivals at the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza. These festivals not only bring joy to our community, but also fund vital art programs.
For decades, we have supported and educated artists of all ages and awarded scholarships to talented high school students pursuing art in college. Understanding the crucial role of creativity in child development, we have offered after-school and summer art programs since the early 2000s. More recently, in collaboration with the Prescott VA, we began offering Veterans Art classes in 2021, recognizing the therapeutic power of art for those who have served.
Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsors will support our capital campaign to refresh our building (classrooms, galleries and library), as well as replace our parking lot. These projects will require approximately $200,000 to $250,000.
We would be honored by your support and participation in our 75th-anniversary celebration.
