Farm To Able's Open Barn Days offer a serene and educational experience unlike any other. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sanctuary for animals, our focus is on providing a tranquil environment for both our residents and visitors. Attendees have the opportunity to connect with our residents, many of whom have faced significant challenges and are now thriving under our care. Guests can spend time with our residents, learning about their individual stories of resilience and healing. We prioritize creating a calm and therapeutic atmosphere, allowing our animals to trust and flourish.
Secure your tickets by Friday, June 21st, and you’ll enjoy a special early bird admission price of $15 per ticket.
For those who decide to join us spontaneously on Sunday, June 23rd, admission at the gate will be $20.
*Children under 5 years of age are $10 per ticket.
All proceeds from Open Barn Day admission goes directly to support the ongoing care of our residents, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. Through this hands-on experience in a controlled environment, we aim to educate and advocate for farmed animals, fostering empathy and understanding among our visitors. Join us for a unique opportunity to connect with these remarkable beings and be inspired by their stories of resilience.

Here are a few things to expect:
- All children under the age of 15 are to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- No chasing the animals. If you’re caught in a pursuit, we’ will ask you to switch gears & focus on the hugs and snuggles instead.
- Wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting muddy & maybe altered by our fashion forward goats.
- No personal belongings in the animal's habitat/space except cell phone to capture the moment.
- If you purchase the Early Bird ticket, you will receive your FTA fan club tote on the day of event. Just make sure to check in with one of our volunteers!
- If you have never visited our sanctuary before, please be sure to fill out a waiver before arrival at https://form.jotform.com/222144333533042
- Purchasing from Vegan Kingdom KC’s is optional and not required but we do HIGHLY recommend grabbing something yummy! Please don’t forget to tag VKKC in photos of their new food truck! It’s a work of art waiting for a photo op!
