About the Event: Join Marc Spagnuolo (The Wood Whisperer) as he hosts Rob Cosman on Friday and Saturday, June 28 & 29, 2024, for an unforgettable dovetail learning event at Marc's Wood Whisperer workshop in Wentzville, Missouri.

This fundraising event consists of three ticketed events:

1) A two-hour meet and greet with Marc and Rob.

2) A four-hour through dovetail seminar with BBQ.

3) A four-hour half-blind dovetail seminar with BBQ.

📅 Event Schedule:

Friday, June 28th

• Meet and Greet Marc and Rob (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Friday, June 28) $50 minimum donation. Meet, chat, and network with Marc and Rob during this 2-hour stand-up social event in Marc's workshop. Share your passion for woodworking and gain insights from these two masters.

Saturday, June 29th

• Through Dovetailing Seminar with Marc and Rob (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 29) $250 minimum donation. Marc hosts Rob Cosman as Rob demonstrates and shows you the secrets to perfect hand-cut through dovetails using Rob’s dovetail offset method. Rob covers how to prepare your stock, laying out the joint, sawing to your lines, the offset method, waste removal, joining right from the saw cut, glue-up, and dovetail tools. Afterwards (12PM- 1PM), enjoy a BBQ sandwich lunch as part of the seminar.

• Half-Blind Dovetailing Seminar with Marc and Rob (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Saturday, June 29) $250 minimum donation. Marc hosts Rob Cosman as Rob demonstrates and shows you the secrets to perfect hand-cut half-blind dovetails using Rob’s dovetail offset method. They cover how to prepare your stock, laying out the joint, sawing to your lines, the offset method, finishing the cut with a kerf extension tool, waste removal, joining right from the saw cuts, glue-up, and dovetail tools. Afterwards (5PM-6PM), enjoy a BBQ sandwich supper as part of the seminar.

Capacity: Each event is limited to a maximum of 40 ticket sales. All sale proceeds are donated to the Purple Heart Project to support combat-wounded Veterans and are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.

Availability: Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start of each event.
