ZDK Arts presents: Jason Robert Brown's "Songs For A New World"
Jason Robert Brown's "Songs For A New World" is not quite full-scale musical & not quite concert, but rather a series of performed songs surrounding the central theme of personal change. Featuring 2 males & 2 females, all portraying different roles throughout, but all focusing on "that one moment." This show takes you from the ledge of an NYC skyscraper's balcony to the decks of a Spanish sailing ship and tackles love, loss, and everything in between.
Performed for 2 nights only in Missoula's newly opened Loretta J. Berry Black Box Theatre, located at the Show Tyme Performing Arts Center, "Songs For A New World" is directed by Alex Kowalchik and music directed by Greg Bolin and features amazingly talents Missoula-based actors Amy Ellis, Lucy Taylor, & Jaymes Mozingo, nationally touring actor Josiah Randolph, and an incredibly talented Missoula-based band of musicians.
