About event
On May 9th, you are invited join us for "Dining for a Difference", a Spirited Dinner experience to aid in funding Gladewaves mission to fight food insecurity in the Metro New Orleans area.
Held at Annunciation Restaurant, event-goers can expect an evening filled with gourmet cuisine and specialty crafted cocktails and wine. All for a good cause! The party begins with hors d'oeuvres & cocktails at 6:00pm on the main dining floor of the restaurant and progresses to the second floor dining area for dinner beginning at 7:00pm.
The funds raised at this event will go towards providing an extra day of food in each of our 14 Big Red Box barrier free food pantries. Gladewaves is joining the charge to provide meals to children who are affected by Louisiana's cancellation of the Summer EBT program.
1 in 5 children in the New Orleans area suffer from food insecurity daily, the cancellation of summer meal access will not only affect these children, but will also affect 600,000 children across Louisiana. Our goal is to place more non-perishable food into the areas served by our 14 Big Red Boxes which are located throughout Metro New Orleans during the summer months.
