About event

WHO ARE WE?

Symphony847 is an innovative ensemble redefining the symphony orchestra experience for the 21st century. Founded in 2020 by a group of passionate musicians on Chicago's North Shore, Symphony847 was born out of a shared desire for a professional, collaborative environment and a commitment to making classical music more relevant and accessible.

Symphony847 believes in enriching the world through music. Our mission is to breathe new life into classical music, making it vibrant and engaging for audiences of all generations. We are committed to delivering distinctive performance experiences that blend established orchestral repertoire with lesser-known works, chamber music, contemporary compositions, and pieces from popular genres.
