Auburn, It’s More Than Just Cars Plein Air Paint Out and Sale in Memory of Fran and Bob Sebeika

This event will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 8 am -5pm.

This event will be held in and around Auburn, Indiana. There will be minimum 5 $200 merit awards

as well as 3 High School awards $75, $50, $25

This event will be held in and around Auburn, Indiana.  There will be five  $200 merit awards as well as 3 High School awards of $75, $50, and $25

Stamping and check in will begin from 7:30-9:30 am at the Automobile museums plaza 1600 S Wayne St, Auburn, IN 46706  Registration: is no free so to sponsorship but a suggested donation if $20 is appreciative.   High School Registration is free (Eligible for only the High School Awards) Artists will get a name tag and artists information on possible locations in town to paint.  There will be an opportunity to paint cars with the museums Saturday morning coffee and donuts car show from 9-11 am.  Artists will  paint around Auburn until 4 pm.  The culmination of the event will occur at the James Cultural Plaza at 4pm where artists display their paintings. Artist sale will be handled by Northern Indiana Plein Air.  NIPA will retain 25 percent of the sale.  Sales tax will be charged to the buyer.  Refreshments with light dinner for the artists will be at 4:15 pm on the plaza.  Judging will occur with awards by  430pm.  The display and sale will last until 5 pm.  This event is brought to you by Northern Indiana Plein Air, the James Foundation, and the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum .

 This event will be a part of Cars and Coffee. 

Timeline:

 8 am – Registration at Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum Plaza 

 From 1pm until 3::330 pm,  a demonstration at the Automobile Museum Plaza  

 4:00pm –Artists should have their artwork set up for judging at Automobile Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum Plaza

Display and Sale 4pm-5pm

430 pm – Awards
