Registration $275 for Northern Indiana Plein Air Artists Association Members and Kosciusko County Residents or $300 Non-members.

Equipment, Paint, and Canvas will be provided for your workshop. Lunch will be provided.

David ‘s 3-day workshop will be covering the steps to creating a great landscape. Each day we will have a morning and afternoon demonstration followed by personal paint time with plenty of one-on-one coaching.
Workshop Goals:
Establishing the painting with personal choices & perspective.
This workshop will include practical & simplified ways to break down the decision making in a painting.
Including personal decisions in each painter’s hierarchy of painting. We all have likes, dislikes and areas of importance which take the lead. Those elements & principles are what we need to bring to the fore front and emphasize in our paintings.
This workshop will also include a lesson in basic linear perspective within a landscape scene. Instructor David M. Seward will give an onsite painting demonstration, share painting techniques, show examples of paintings, and give instructional handouts.
Each day we will go over the basics to get you started. Each painting we will emphasize
· ¨ Creating Thumbnail sketches
· ¨ Using a no tan drawing
· ¨ Composition Choice
· ¨ Painting with Personal Choice and Perspective in the Landscape
· ¨ Palette and Local Color Choice
· ¨ The Underpainting
· ¨ Finishing up the Painting
After the workshop, to support and guide you in your painting, plan to attend the Northern Indiana Plein Air Artists Association Wednesday Evenings in June workshops by David Broerman located at the Tri- County Fish and Wildlife Area.
