Sporting Clay Invitational & Gala
Beyond Performance, 501(c)(3) Hosts the 2024 Sporting Clay Invitation & Gala presenting the Veterans Afield Foundation. Beyond Performance provides strength training, nutrition, and outdoor programs for veterans which are guided by our partners at the Veterans Afield Foundation. The event includes two ways to participate as an individual or a premier sponsor for 1) Sporting Clay Tournament and 2) Gala at Town Stage at Trilith. You are welcome to participate in a single event or both. The Gala will feature dinner, entertainment, an auction, and words from our keynote speakers. All proceeds from the event and auction are being raised to benefit the Veterans Afield Foundation.
Friday January 26th 2024
- Sporting Clay Tournament | Big Red Oak Plantation | 8:30am – 1:00pm
- Ticket purchase includes round of sporting clays, ammunition, lunch, and the opportunity to participate in the auction
- Teams of 3 will be paired with a Veteran to connect and learn more about the organization
- Schedule:
- 8:30am – registration & warm up shooting
- 9:30am – safety meeting
- 9:45am – tournament begins
- 12:00pm – lunch & awards
- Gala | Town Stage at Trilith | Fayetteville 4:30pm – 8:30pm
- Ticket purchase includes dinner, special performances, and opportunity to participate in the auction
- Tables of 8 will be paired with a Veteran to connect and learn more about the organization
- Schedule:
- 4:30pm – registration & doors open
- 4:30pm – 5:30pm appetizers & drinks
- 5:30pm – welcome & all seated
- 5:40pm – video presentation & dinner begins
- 6:30pm – 7:30pm special performances
- 7:30pm – 8:00pm silent auctions
- 8:30pm – that’s a wrap!

Operation Black Bear:
Special drawing to win 1 of 6 hand forged knives by retired Sergeant Major Jack Stottlemire. The other five knives will be sold at auction at this event. At the end of the night, each knife owner will be entered into a drawing to win a black bear hunt with Johnny Joey Jones and other veterans.
All donors are welcome to attend workouts, local events, and Meat & Greet dinners held monthly with us.
