CANCELED- Head of the Housatonic Regatta Parking Ticket

Per the New Haven Rowing Club, the event is cancelled for this year. The river is likely to flood and it’s driven by the previous weeks of rain north of the dam. Chief Referee Lyssa Bayne and FirstLight Power (whose dam controls the flow along this stretch of the Housatonic River) agree that, at flood stage, the river is unsafe for any vessel.   The rowing club has held the Head of the Housatonic since 1994 and this is the first time it has been cancelled.

Thank you for purchasing a parking ticket for the Head of the Housatonic Regatta. Tickets are priced at $25 each and 100% of the proceeds will be split between the New Haven Rowing Club and Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven.

The New Haven Rowing Club will be using the money to cover the cost of transporting members from the parking area to the Regatta.

Habitat for Humanity will be providing volunteer labor to direct traffic at the event. All donations will be used to fund the construction of Habitat Homes in New Haven.

Please print out or screenshot a copy of your payment receipt. This will grant you entry to the parking lot. There will also be cash accepted at the gate.
