Growing City Greens Fundraiser 2023

Help us grow a community-powered food system by joining us on September 6 for our 2023 Growing City Greens Fundraiser Event at Wild Carrot.

Growing City Greens is a "green party" (a la Diddy's white parties) - dress as fancy, casual, or silly as you like, but come wearing green! This is a cocktail-style event, with farm-to-table food prepared by Farm Spirit STL. DJ Whiz will be spinning tunes, the entertainers will delight you (so many activities!), and the local beer & wine will be tasty and free.

Where Your Money Goes

As always, all of your donation directly contributes to food sovereignty and expanding food access for all. Our fundraising goal for this event is $50,000. With $50,000, we can:

• Double the number of people who use SNAP benefits at the Market (and who can use Double Up Food Bucks to get up to $25 of produce free each week!)
• Offer monthly nutrition education throughout 2024
• Better support new local farmers, particularly Black, women, non-binary, and urban farmers
• Continue to offer health benefits to our staff
• Expand our offerings beyond the 63110 ZIP code
