The Bar[d] Party is a high-octane, immersive, collaborative, community-building, (optionally) boozy experience. With inspiration from Forum Theatre and Agosto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, The Bar[d] Party fervently seeks to create communal spaces of gathering, conversation, connection, celebration, and Storytelling - using the Bard’s poetry as an actionable springboard. The Bar[d] Party restores and fosters Artist and Audience reliance on one another — the kind of symbiotic relationship that the Bard himself wrote for! We also aim to create opportunities for live Storytelling process and philanthropic giving to seamlessly boogie down! We are so very excited & elated to be collaborating with ISF, and supporting their ongoing mission to make their presence & their work more equitable, collaborative & community-minded!
