More than 700 million people, or 10 percent of the world population, still live in extreme poverty today, struggling to fulfill the most basic needs like health, education, and access to water and sanitation, to name a few. The majority of people living on less than $1.90 a day live in sub-Saharan Africa. Worldwide, the poverty rate in rural areas is 17.2 percent—more than three times higher than in urban areas.
The United Nations has made “No Poverty” as the number one goal. The World bank group and various government efforts had been put in place to fight this battle. However, extreme poverty is still prevalent,

For this reason, Feed The Poor Foundation of America Inc proclaimed August 2nd of every year as World Feed The Poor Day to encourage collective efforts of individuals, businesses and non-governmental organizations to fight against this pandemic of all time.
This Annual Event offers excitement and fulfillment to all participants.
PROGRAM of Event are as follows:
1. AUGUST 2, 2024: Public Outreach 7am-2pm
2. AUGUST 3, 2024: Thanksgiving 3pm-6pm
3. AUGUST 10, 2024: Awards Night 7pm-10pm
