Safe Center is a crisis intervention program that provides assistance to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and child abuse in Stephens and Jefferson County. The Safe Center serves around 450 clients and receives approximately 600 crisis calls per year. Individuals served are often in danger of serious injury, or fleeing an unsafe situation at the hands of their abuser.
