ETHEL, a contemporary string quartet based in New York City, has been one of Denison's Ensembles-in-Residence since September 2014. They engage the entire campus and the greater community in exploring music and its connections with other academic disciplines. ETHEL promises to fill the room with joyous music from all over the US, as well as treasures from programs they have built right here in Granville to help celebrate the grand opening of the Granville Center for the Arts. If you remember "Grace," "Documerica," or "The River," from their performances in Swasey Chapel, you'll have treats in store.

Our special event starts with a delightful 30-minute social gathering featuring tasty treats and refreshments in the community room alongside the talented band. Afterward, prepare to be mesmerized by an intimate performance in the Granville Center for the Arts gallery surrounded by the works of Christian Faur.
