Plunge for Autism

Collaborative Autism Movement (CAM) is a newly formed Non-Profit Organization. We are Plunging for Autism at Beech Mountain Lakes on March 18, 2023. Registration is 11am-12:45pm with a plunge time of 1pm. There's plenty to do for non-plungers as well. We will have 50/50s and raffles baskets and merchandise available for purchase. We want to thank ALV Karaoke and DJ Services for donating their time to provide music and MC services for this Event. We also want to thank Beech Mountain Lakes for allowing us to host the event there and open their restaurant and bar early for our group. We know this will be a an exciting event and are looking forward to seeing everyone there cheering on their plungers. 

Why are we Plunging for Collaborative Autism Movement?

 Our Mission is to Collaborate with Community partners to support inclusion and understanding of individuals with Autism and to focus our efforts on offering impactful resources to help support their needs in our community. With this Fundraiser, we will be providing Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder Sensory Haircuts and Private Photography sessions with their families in order to have a Sensory Friendly environment. School Pictures, Family Photos are often extremely challenging for Individuals on the Spectrum so to be able to provide a sensory friendly environment without a time limit for these families is key to capturing these precious moments.
