We are thrilled to (finally!) gather in person to celebrate the contributions of our amazing Latinx lawyers, and to fundraise in support of the EBLRLA Scholarship Fund.
All funds raised will benefit the EBLRLA Scholarship Fund which is a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that awards scholarships to Latinx law students who need our support to complete law school and become members of the bar. This past year, we awarded over ten thousand dollars in scholarships to law students for law school and bar exam expenses.
Latinx Attorneys are severely underrepresented in the California bar in comparison to our representation statewide: we comprise 36% of the state’s population, yet only represent 7% of all of California’s licensed active attorneys.
