Make Our Day is a nonprofit education organization that puts on afterschool and camp activities to foster a lifetime love of learning in children around the world.
We have been hosting classes in Aurora since April 2022 and in that time our students have learned a lot about cooking and gardening.
We are now launching a Letters for Seniors project to connect our Aurora students with local seniors who may have cooking and gardening tip so pass down to another generation or whom would just like to receive a handwritten letter.
We are having a bowling party to kick off our letter writing campaign. This is a free event, but you must register to participate as space on the lanes is limited. Ages 5 - 15 welcome!
Older students and Teacher Katie will assist students who can't write yet. Hope to see friends new and old this Friday at The Strike Zone!
Meets at The Strike Zone. Bring socks to bowl. Water, snacks and letter writing supplies are provided.
