Join a Shabbat camping trip at Kaluna Farms, an hour and a half from intown Atlanta. Folks of all ages are invited for hiking, fireside singing, splashing in fresh spring water, eating organic local food and communing with nature in holy time. Over Shabbat, we will take a prayerful journey in body and spirit through the garden. Meals will be farm-to-table and prepared by our farm hosts and volunteers like you. Family friendly, all generations welcome.
SCHEDULE
Friday, July 15th @ 3:00 pm — Sunday, July 17th @ 11:00 am. Check out our unfinished schedule, and let us know if there is any program or offering you would like to share.
COST
The cost of hosting this event is $150 per person. However, to make this camping retreat accessible to all who wish to participate, we offer three tiers. Please consider paying the highest rate that you are able to. Your generosity makes the trip possible, helps support Ma'alot, and allows us to foster an inclusive community.
If the scholarship rate is financially unfeasible for you, please write to info@maalotatlanta.com with a brief explanation of why you wish to join us on the retreat and your financial needs. While financial aid is limited, we will do our best to make the retreat accessible to you.
CAMPING
Field and wooded camping are included with the cost, and include bath-house access. A limited number of 1 bedroom cabin lodgings are available at an additional $150/night. Inquire about availability at info@maalotatlanta.com
THE LEV
The Lev (hebrew for “heart”) is a collaborative circle that holds the center of this weekend village. The Lev gathers at the farm from July 14th at 6:00 pm - July 15th at 1:00 pm for a pre-shabbat campout and training. If you are interested in joining the Lev, email ariel@maalotatlanta.com
