Help Ukraine 22 exists to fill the humanitarian aid gap inside Ukraine and meet the needs of the most vulnerable people as fast and as directly as possible. HU22 is laser-locked in on its “RRR” mission:
- RELIEF - We are organizing shelter and aid.
- RESUPPLY - We provide critical humanitarian supplies.
- RESCUE - We help people get to safety.
Access to clean water is a major marker of civil health. Lack of access, is a game changer. Help Ukraine 22 is committed to getting portable, potable water to vulnerable Ukrainians who either find themselves as refugees or stuck in battle areas.

In early April it was reported: "Heavy fighting has been experienced in and around the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. Access to water was lost when the pipeline from Dnipro was damaged, causing the city to be without piped water for weeks. This has forced residents to use water from streams and rivers, most of which is unclean and not safe.”
After seeing this reported, HU22 decided to ask donors (many from the Snoquamie Valley) for LifeStraw to hand deliver to this region and several others in the conflict zones. They were delivered to a Dnipro shelter, via a Snoqualmie Valley resident, by the end of the month.
HU22 is grateful to Snoqualmie United Methodist Church, Francesco and Natalia Montalto, and the entire Snoqualmie Valley for their continued support.
Although HU22 is committed to bringing clean water to Ukrainians through the donation of LifeStraws, we reserve the option of utilizing the funds for the most needed area should circumstances rapidly change. Donation amounts are examples of capacity and based on current values.
