I'm Excited to Announce My Candidacy for the Cromaine District Library Board of Trustees

Hartland has been my home since 1977. Class of '90 rules! 😊

For more than 30 years, I have had the privilege of serving our community as a high school math teacher, golf coach, curriculum advisor, administrator, and community member. Through those experiences, I have seen firsthand how important strong community institutions are to the success of our families and our children.

That is why I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Cromaine District Library Board of Trustees.

Cromaine is one of Hartland's greatest treasures. It provides opportunities for learning, exploration, connection, and growth for residents of all ages. As Cromaine approaches its 100th Anniversary in 2027, I would be honored to help celebrate its remarkable history while helping shape its future.

If elected, I will focus on the following key priorities:

Promoting Educational Opportunities
As an educator, I understand the power of lifelong learning. I want to support programs and resources that inspire curiosity, encourage literacy, and help residents of all ages continue to learn and grow.

Strengthening Collaboration
Hartland is at its best when organizations work together. I believe Cromaine and Hartland Schools have a long history of partnership, and I want to continue building strong relationships that benefit students, families, and the entire community.

Fiscal Responsibility
Taxpayer resources should be managed carefully and transparently. I am committed to ensuring Cromaine remains financially strong while continuing to provide exceptional services and opportunities for our community.

Investing in Staff Excellence
Great organizations are built by great people. I want to support professional development opportunities for Cromaine's staff so they can continue to grow, innovate, and provide outstanding service to our community.

Hartland has given so much to my family and me over the years. Serving on the Cromaine Board would be another opportunity to give back to a community that I care deeply about.
